Are the rooms furnished?
Yes, we can provide furniture to residents for no additional charge. Subject to availability, we can provide residents with a bed frame, nightstand, desk, chair, and clothing dresser. We do not offer mattresses.
Does the advertised price include utilities and internet?
Yes, the advertised price includes all utilities (water, electricity, gas, trash, etc.) and Wifi internet connectivity.
Are residents able to use the kitchen?
Yes, residents have full access to the kitchen and are able to use the refrigerator, freezer, stove, and oven as needed.
Is the house pet friendly?
Unfortunately, due to the shared nature of the common areas, residents are not allowed to have pets stay in the house.
Is there air conditioning in the house?
Each room comes equipped with individually controlled heating and cooling units. Central heating and air conditioning is also provided in the common areas.
Is there a janitorial service for the building’s common areas?
Yes, we provide janitorial services to clean the buildings common areas (bathrooms, kitchen, dining hall, etc).
Is there laundry available on site?
Yes, there is a laundry room on site with washers and dryers that are available for all residents to use. Payment is collected through a third party service through a mobile phone app.
Is parking available on site?
We offer assigned parking to residents for an additional fee of $75/month. We also offer parking to non-residents with pricing being subject to availability.
Do any rooms have their own bathrooms?
A few rooms have private bathrooms but the vast majority of residents use the shared, fully remodeled bathrooms located on the first and second floors.
How far is the house from campus?
The house is located about half a mile away from the University Park’s main north side entrance. This means that residents can walk to campus in about 10 minutes and to USC Village in about 5 minutes.
How do you ensure resident safety?
The house is situated in USC Department of Public Safety’s UPC Patrol Area. This means that the street is patrolled 24 hours per day, 7 days a week. As an added measure of safety, we also have security cameras installed around the perimeter of the house and in the interior common areas. Lastly, access codes for the entry and room doors are changed every academic year to ensure that only authorized residents have access to the house.
